You can add subscribers one by one or import a CSV file.
- In your dashboard, create a list first: Lists → + New. Choose Private for lists you manage yourself, Public if people may join it from a sign-up form. Double opt-in sends new sign-ups a confirmation email first (recommended for website forms).
- Go to Subscribers → Import, choose Subscribe, select your list and upload a CSV file.
The CSV needs a header row with at least email and name. Extra data goes in an attributes column as JSON, for example:

Only import people who agreed to receive email from you (customers, people who signed up on your website, etc.). Never import bought, rented or scraped lists: they produce spam complaints and bounces, and sending to them breaks our terms of service. Accounts that cause abuse reports are suspended.
Addresses that bounce or unsubscribe are handled automatically and never receive your campaigns again.
