For email to reach you, and for your messages not to land in spam, your domain needs the correct DNS records.
If your domain's DNS is hosted with EltaHost (it uses alpha/omega.eltahost.com and is on your own account), we add all records automatically. If something is missing, click Set up DNS automatically on the service page.
If your DNS is elsewhere (another registrar, Cloudflare etc.), add the records shown in your welcome email and in the DNS records section of the service page. They are:
- MX: tells the world where to deliver your mail.
- SPF (TXT): lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain.
- DKIM (TXT on
dkim._domainkey): a digital signature that proves your mail is genuine. - DMARC (TXT on
_dmarc): tells receivers what to do with mail that fails the checks. - autodiscover / autoconfig: lets Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird set themselves up.
Copy the values exactly as shown. Your domain can have only one SPF record: if you already have one, merge the values instead of adding a second record. DNS changes can take a few hours to show as green.
