- At your current registrar, unlock the domain and get the EPP / authorization code.
- Make sure the domain is more than 60 days old (or 60 days since its last transfer), and that the owner email address works.
- Order the transfer from Transfer a Domain and enter the EPP code.
- Approve the transfer email if you get one.
Most transfers finish in 5–7 days. A transfer normally adds one year to the domain's expiry date. Your website keeps working during the transfer as long as you don't change its DNS.
